先后主持国家自然科学基金面上项目2项，湖南省教育厅项目1项，湖南省安全局项目1项，作为研究骨干参加纵向课题5项，参与(专业负责)横向课题近20项，在国内外刊物公开发表论文30余篇，被SCI、EI收录10余篇，参编“十一五”国家级规划教材1 部，研究成果获省级科技进步一等奖1项，三等奖1项。
